'Feeling Fizzy?' Blank Body Map Worksheet

Feeling Fizzy Blank Body Map Worksheet

“Sometimes, when we are feeling BIG feelings, such as worried, we notice this first in our bodies. Our bodies may feel ‘Fizzy’ and as though things are bubbling up. It is our body’s way of letting us know that we are feeling those BIG emotions. For example: you might notice you have a headache or butterflies in your tummy.”

Children and young people are encouraged to explore bodily sensations associated with BIG feelings.

This is suitable for EYFS, KS1, and KS2. For EYFS or KS1, we recommend completing this activity practically outside using chalk rather than a worksheet.

It is the perfect accompanying resource for EMHPs, CWPs, and ELSAs to use in their 1:1 sessions or in a small group.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support children with identifying their worries by spotting bodily sensations.
  • To be used in 1:1 sessions.
