Welcome to the Staff Wellbeing Resource Hub

Staff wellbeing should be a priority in all schools as when we feel our lives are in balance then we are more likely able to cope during challenging situations (Mentally Healthy Schools, 2022). All staff members should be given both emotional and practical support so that they can then support the pupils that they work with. Exciting Teacher.

Looking after staff wellbeing goes beyond a termly yoga class or a poster in the toilets. It is about creating a culture whereby staff are valued and that positive mental health is made a priority. This takes time to change. Here we have some helpful resources as part of our Member’s Club for supporting your wellbeing in schools.

This week's Tea & Talk:

Week beginning: 10th October 2022

Theme: This year’s theme for World Mental Health Day 2022 is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’.

Tea & Talk has been designed to get everyone in the staff room chatting about and normalising mental health and wellbeing.

Here you will find a list of questions and topics to open up discussions with your fellow colleagues. We will be adding a new Tea & Talk each week for you to add to your staff room, each will follow a different theme.
