'The Connection Caterpillar': Building Positive Relationships D.I.Y Craft Activity

The ‘Connection Caterpillar’ helps you to share your favourite things with those around. Complete the caterpillar sentences, cut them out and stick them together to create a long caterpillar. Share your answers with friends and grown-ups to help you to build connections and find out what you have in common!
This worksheet would also work well for any ELSAs or Therapists during group sessions.
How could this resource be used?
- To support with moving year groups.
- To support children to build a relationship and positive bond with their new class teacher and each other.
- To encourage children to feel part of a new classroom climate and community.
- To form a whole-class display for the new school year.
