”Spot the Feelings: Social Stories about Emotions’ has been designed to support children and young people with exploring and identifying BIG feelings, such as anger, frustration, sadness, envy, jealously and more.
It provides children a space to discuss scenarios, the feelings that the young person in the example might be feeling and what can be done about the situation.
How could this resource be used?
- To support emotional regulation and managing big emotions.
- To support emotional literacy and identifying BIG feelings.
- To support a child 1:1.

- KS1: H13 – how feelings can affect people’s bodies and how they behave.
