FREE World Book Day: Find the Emotion
It’s World Book Day and here is a FREE resource that not only promotes a love of books but also helps to develop Emotional Literacy.
This is a fun activity that is suitable for KS1 and KS2.
Can you find the different emotion words in a book? You could search both fiction and non-fiction books. If you cannot find the word, can you find a picture that shows a person (or animal) showing each emotion on their face?
How could this resource be used?
- To develop emotional literacy and understanding of different emotions.
- To foster a love of reading whilst exploring different emotions and feelings linked to the PSHE curriculum.
