A resource pack for exploring how to manage BIG feelings during SATs for Year 6 pupils. This pack includes a detailed high-quality Lesson Plan, Slides, and accompanying Activities to support with consolidating the learning.

This Lesson focuses on how we can experience BIG feelings, especially during times of change, such as SATs week. It provides children with practical strategies for managing their BIG feelings and ideas for supporting with self-care.

  • KS2: H16 – about strategies and behaviours that support mental health — including how good quality sleep, physical exercise/ time outdoors, being involved in community groups, doing things for others, clubs, and activities, hobbies and spending time with family and friends.
