Yoga through Storytelling Spring Edition - Mindfulness Storytime
This Spring Yoga Story resource is a story-based yoga routine for children within the theme of Spring. It comes with accompanying yoga pose cards.
Yoga helps to improve children’s core strength, balance, flexibility, and agility whilst also promoting the use of deep breathing techniques and feeling a sense of calm. Yoga can have a positive impact on our mental health and mood. Why not start your morning in school with a brief yoga routine to get the day started?
Suitable for EYFS, KS1, KS2.
How could this resource be used?
- To develop a range of coping strategies to help us feel calm and ready to take on our day, such as yoga.
- To display in your classroom, hall or homes as a reminder of accessible yoga poses for children inspired by Spring.
