Spider Web of Connections Game Exploring Common Interests and Building Connections by Exciting Teacher

‘Spider Web of Connections’ is a game that helps to promote exploring common interests and building connections amongst the class. The ideal activity for the first week back at school.

This Mini Lesson has been designed for you to pick up and go with minimal resources and time needed to complete the activity. The information sheet also includes step-by-step instructions on how to carry out the activity.

This activity would also work well for any ELSAs or Therapists during group sessions. Minimum amount of children recommended for activity: 8.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support children to build a relationship and positive bond with their new class teacher and each other.
  • To encourage children to feel part of a new classroom climate and community.

KS1:
