'Flip Your Flop': Learning from Mistakes - Growth Mindset Activity
Let’s flip your flop! Sometimes we make mistakes and that is okay. However, mistakes can help us to learn from our experiences when they do not go to plan.
This resource and analogy helps children to explore when they have made a mistake and what they can take-away from that experience. It is a child-friendly way to explore mistakes and introduce ideas surrounding developing a positive growth mindset.
How could this resource be used?
- To support with promoting a positive growth mindset.
- To help children to identify when they have made a mistake and establish what the learning point from that mistake is.
