'My Anxiety Coping Wheel'

My Anxiety Coping Wheel has been created to help children to develop helpful coping strategies for managing their feelings of worry and anxiety.
“When we feel BIG feelings, like feeling worried or anxious, it can be hard to know what to do to help us to feel better. When you next feel worried or anxious, spin the wheel and follow one of the coping strategies to help you to feel better.”
It is the perfect accompanying resource for EMHPs, CWPs, and ELSAs to use in their 1:1 sessions or in a small group.
How could this resource be used?
- To support children with identifying their worries.
- To support Autistic (and other Neurodiversities) young people with identifying what causes them to feel worried.
- To be used in 1:1 sessions.
