What emergency service do I need?
This collection of ‘999’ Emergency Service resources has been collated to support children in knowing what to do in the case of an emergency when someone is in danger and/or hurt.
Children are invited to explore the various emergency services and what they can help us with from Police, Fire, Ambulance, and Coastguard.
It allows children to explore how to contact emergency services within the UK when needed and what to say once connected.
How could this resource be used?
- To support children with knowing what the emergency services do and how to contact them.
- To support children with role-playing calling 999 and asking for the correct emergency service.
