Reason's Why I Am...
‘Reasons Why I Am…’ worksheet has been designed to support children and young people with identifying what makes them, them. It is a tool for building emotional literacy and allowing insight into thoughts and feelings for the adults who are supporting the children or young person. It is a way of exploring the positives and celebrating the small things. although, this can be used for a variety of reasons, such as ‘Reason’s Why I Am… Amazing, Brilliant, Successful, Worried, Brave, Sad, etc’.
Some children and young people find verbalising their emotions challenging. They might be reluctant to share but this is supportive of writing/drawing how they are feeling in that moment.
