This is a free resource that children can use to compliment friends and peers.
A ‘Good Egg’ is a person who is kind and friendly. This is a resource about friendship and kindness. The ‘Good Egg’ resource looks at how to be a good friend and what qualities make a good friend to help build positive and happy relationships with peers.
Suitable for KS1 and KS2.
How could this resource be used?
- To support with building positive friendships.
- To provide children with vocabulary to describe a good friend.

- KS2 – R11: what constitutes a positive healthy friendship (e.g. mutual respect, trust, truthfulness, loyalty, kindness, generosity, sharing interests and experiences, support with problems and difficulties); that the same principles apply to online friendships as to face-to-face relationships.
